The Land of Hope and Glory
Does anyone know any US companies that ship RAM to the UK? I thought I'd try and take advantage of the weak dollar and stock up on some dirt cheap computer stuff. In fact does anyone know any companies that will HDDs as well?

Any help appreciated :).

Just be prepared to pay VAT and any applicable import duties

Also, if you ship by a commercial courier (UPS, FedEx, DHL) you can expect to pay customs brokerage fees for the paperwork of $10 to $ 50 depending on the value of your package - this is in addition to the shipping tariff. Check out these charges before you order.

Ask you seller if they will ship via USPS Global Express (EMS) service. This is a little cheaper than courier, and you may get a break on brokerage, as your Post Office handles it, not a private brokerage.
