For those of you who read the release notes upon installing the Windows 7 beta, you know that there exists a "hot fix" for the MP3 corruption described here: Release Notes.
However, when I try to download it in firefox (windows side) it gives the error: "this update is not applicable to your computer". How is it possible for my machine to have already installed the update? How do I check that it has already installed the fix?

Open Windows update and click "view update history" and see if you see one listed for KB961367

It was probably installed automatically after you completed the windows 7 install process, as it was flagged as "important"
