Is there a way to burn a MP3 DVD with iTunes 7?

I have a Dodge Nitro and it plays DVD's through my dash and it plays MP3 data discs so I'm sure it will work, but it is a big hassle formating them and organizing them... I'd like to just click a button and be done. Is there such an application?

THANKS!!!

Did you try using the Help function in iTunes before starting a new thread?

That's how to create an MP3 CD... I'm asking about an MP3 DVD.

The point is, it's always recommended to look for answers from the most obvious sources, such as a program's documentation and help, then by using the MacRumors Guides, then by searching the forums to see what has already been discussed. If none of those have your answer, then it's appropriate to start a new thread, not as a substitute for reading the documentation.

I searched both and found no solution... I did find one post but it had been abandoned in 2003... does that meet your requirements for a new post?

The last screen cap I posted from iTunes Help shows you can burn MP3s to CD or DVDs. The first screen cap gave you the steps. What else are you looking for?

That is talking about Data DVD not

MP3 DVD

I have tried that already like I told you before!

It's talking about music files, not data.

It's talking about music files, not data.

Let me explain to you what happens when you do this... it takes all your music files and burns them to the disk as they are formatted on the disk... therefore all the other file types are burnt as is... (M4A, MP3, WAV, AIFF, etc...) and not in a MP3 format!!!

I can use automator to get it to convert all the items to MP3 then to burn them to a disk... but I'd rather just go into iTunes and press the burn button since I do this regularly!!!

You can choose the format you want. A simpler way is to just use Finder to drag and drop whatever MP3 files you want on the DVD and burn. It's extremely simple. Are you saying you don't have them in MP3 format to begin with?

By the way, I just did this, using Finder, and I'm now playing the DVD with MP3 files I just burned on my home theater DVD player.

Try this app. Just drag songs straight out of iTunes, MP3 or not. I've done it with a CD, but it looks like it will work with a DVD.

No problem. Burn is one of the best Mac freeware apps ever. It'll do just about anything you want with discs.
