Sorry if this is a redundant post. I'm fairly new to Mac. Could someone tell me what I should do with mp3s from a zip file? I know I can highlight them and drag them to itunes but the files remain in my download folder. Do I move them to the itunes library as well? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Adding music to iTunes copies it into your iTunes library. Deleting the files in your downloads folder will not remove them from iTunes. :apple:

Just to be clear, whether the files are copied to iTunes or not depends on your settings. If you go to preferences>advanced, make sure the "copy files to itunes media folder when adding to library" box is checked if you want it done automatically.

Once you've added them to your library, they will then be copied and stored, and you can delete the files in your download folder without risking any problems.
