I downloaded an mp3 file off the internet. I can open this in Quicktime but that's it. Absolutely nothing happens if I try to open it in iTunes (which is what I really need) and it just doesn't read it in VLC (which is saying something). I have the Mediainfo readout here:

*** MediaInfo Mac // Plain text file report
2010-01-08 23:12:31 +1100
Information for File: Gallifrey - 01 - Weapon of Choice_ALBW.mp3

General / Container Stream # 1
Total Audio Streams for this File -> 1
Audio Codecs Used -> MPEG-1 Audio layer 3
File Format -> MPEG Audio
Total File Size -> 138 MiB
Title (Tag) -> AlbumWrap Album
Audio Stream # 1
Codec -> MPEG Audio
Codec Profile -> Joint stereo
Audio Stream BitRate Mode -> VBR
Number of Audio Channels -> 2
Sampling Rate -> 44.1 KHz
Bit Depth -> 16 bits

Does anyone know how I could get this into a format that could read it. Do NOT say use MPEG Streamclip because it says "Cannot find video or audio tracks".
