Hello everyone,

I have been reading for a long time, and this forum's users helped me to decide to purchase my macbook, and I am looking forward to going to grab my ipod touch this weekend.

I have a few questions, with this one being the most important:

If i jailbreak my ipod touch, am I able to play mp3's that are not DRM'd or itunes-only?

I have a massive mp3 collection, and I would rather not make a complete copy, or covvert them all to a DRM-AAC (i think) format.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this will be the make-or-break for purchasing my ipod touch.

Of course. You don't even need to jailbreak to be able to play mp3's. You just add it to your iTunes library, they don't need to be converted or anything.
