Is there a good app that will allow me to convert mp3 to wav files for CD's?

I am looking for something like Musicmatch unless there is something better :)

Well I also want to be able to change formats without creating a CD.

-> Quicktime Pro. Best way out there, then it works in many other Apps (like SoundStudio), too... Buy it for like 30 bucks from Apple or PM me if you already bought it and lost your registration key...

actually, there is a version of musicmatch for osx if you check versiontracker.com, but while you're there, just search for "mp3" and you'll find a ton of utilities to convert audio. i think that audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net) will do this as well as allow you to edit/record audio, but there are several simpler applications to do this.

iTunes

iTunes: Prefs: Importing: (select wav encoder),
Ok, Advanced: convert selection to wav..

This option changes back and forth between convert to mp3, aiff, or wav depending on how you set the import prefs.. works like a charm..

Thanks the whole lot of you.

One quick question.... what about switching to Ogg Vorbis?
