For some reason when i attempt to burn around 400 mb onto a 700 mb blank disc, it wont do it. It gives me the alert messag "none of these items can be burnt to this disc", and then proceeds to attempt to eithe ignore the unreadalbe contents or eject them. I really need to burn this list so i can transport my music digitally. Please respond thanks!

Exactly what and how are trying to burn?

If the mp3 are in iTunes, make sure you have the "burn cd as mp3" option checked and not "burn as music CD". Then create a new playlist with the desired songs, select it and hit "burn".

Check

Check check and check, i've tried all that, the problem is that it refuses to burn. Another oddity is that the blank disc doesnt pop up on the desktop, and the computer doesnt ask for a naming for disc like it does on my friends mac.

What kinda computer? What OS?

Are you sure the burner works? Have you used it before?

Have you tried with other blank CDs? You may just have a bad one...

Also, what kind of CD? I can't burn CD-R's, I don't think. I have to use CD-RW's.

Edit: It might be the other way around for me, I can't remember
