I recently jailbroke my iPhone 3g and I noticed now when I go to qik.com and try to play a video I get a prompt to download or play in media player. I used to have dtunes installed, but uninstalled it since I didn’t need it.

Can't QuickTime play mp4 files? How do I get rid of this download prompt? I would rather have it just play.

Nevermind I figured it out.

If anyone else has this problem it has to do with dtunes installing the "Safari download plug-in". Uninstalling dtunes does not uninstall this plugin. If you go into Cydia and look under installed packages, tap safari download plug-in, click modify, and uninstall. Good to go after that!
