Whenever I try and open an MP4 or M4V a program called "droplet" tries to open it. I've changed the open with QuickTime settings to "always open with" many times, but to no avail. Why is this happening and how do I uninstall/stop it happening. (see attached)

Try this. Select an mp4 or m4v file. Right or Ctrl click and from the popup menu click on "Get Info". In the Info panel go to the bottom and in the "Open with" options, select Quicktime. Then click on the "Change All.." button.

You will have to do this for both an mp4 and m4v file, but afterwards they should open in Quicktime.
