MP4's on iPhone

I've tried downloading some of my dvd's to my computer and converting the file to mp4. I've uploaded them to iTunes but when I try to sync with the phone it says they can't be uploaded. What gives?

Too high of bitrate. Simply right click on the video(s) in iTunes and select "Convert for iPod/iPhone".

yes, either resolution or bitrate is too high, in future look at using handbrake or visual hub, both have ipod / pple tv presets

Thanks, I found the conversion on iTunes. Looks like it takes a while.

I am using handbrake and just saw where I can insert the ipod atom for it to play.
