Subject: MP7.1's Afterburner failure

If and when the Afterburner (AB) fails in some way, will there be a system alert msg stating such ?

Without there being any explicit view of the AB's operations such as in the System Information display and in Activity Monitor how would one know precisely there's an AB's operational issue without there being some sort of warning/alert msg ?

I'm assuming that when the 'system' discovers the AB at boot up there will be some of validation it's working, or if this is not done, then when the 'system' make a request to the AB to do some work and the AB refuses there must be some alert msg saying there's an issue with the AB. I just hope any AB failure does not mean activity will continue without a warning msg.

Any insights about this ? Thanks.... :)
