MPB 13" 2020 – Geekbench Scores

Geekbench scores have begun showing up for the new MacBook Pros.

TL;DR:

MacBook Pro (13-inch 2019, 4 TB, i5) - SC 952 / MC 3907
MacBook Pro (13-inch 2020, 4 TB, i5) - SC 1250 / MC 4450 (up ~30% SC / ~15% MC)

So these are the 10th gen chips? My 2020 8th base scored 921/4066 inline with what I expected.

Single core performance increase is decent at around 30% for the newer cpu’s, multi core less than 10% based on my score. Not sure how much difference this would be in real use.

When I ran a test on 8th gen 2020 I received today it identified as ‘Macbook 16,3’ so it seems plausible.
