I have a Epson D88 printer, im using usb extension cables (active cables) to send the cable from one room to another (about 15m)
its plugged in to my airport express (which works fine) but when i plug the usb cable into the airport, nothing happens.
I select manual setup from config utility, and it says no printers are connected.
I thought this could be a power issue (due to sending the cable 15m) so i plugged the printer directly into the airport station, and still nothing.
so its definitely not a power issue....when i plug the printer directly into my mac, it prints fine.
Does anyone have any ideas?
(p.s. i found this http://tech.ifelix.net/1013.html which said my printer should work)
