Alright, I've just gotten some videos onto my computer from the camera.
Odd thing is... iPhoto was the one that imported them. iMovie doesn't even seem to recognize MPG files. I can't find out how to get these files into iMovie.
So... how do I do it? iTunes will play it... iPhoto will play it... Quicktime will play it... Keynote will play it... about the only one who won't play it is the one I want to which is iMovie '08.
Edit: Alright, while I do like how very fast iMovie '08 runs... I've decided to use iMovie '06 instead. Too bad... skimming makes what I'm doing right now so easy (I don't need to add any effects or transitions... just a few subtitles, a bit of splicing and dicing of video segments... commentaries... and the ability to stick it onto YouTube...)
At least iMovie '06 is importing the videos (although much slower than I imagine iMovie '08 would have been.)
