Recently download the latest build of mplayer OS X 1, 1.0pre8rc3. The very first time I used it, I would SWEAR that it played the video directly in the controller window - making it look like typical QuickTime Player - instead of opening a separate "video playing" app. I was shocked by this, but loved it, because that was the way I thought it should work, instead of the two separate windows thing.

However... ever since that first time, the app has never worked like that again. Instead, it always does things the old way, with the separate controller and video playback windows.

I would swear that I'm not going crazy, but it is possible. Has anybody else gotten mplayer OS X 1 to play videos this way? If so, how do I do it again?
