update : okay i installed mplayerx and it plays file and barely noticeable blocks

no matter what files i play it all plays blocky, i can see small squares. i reinstall mplayer few times. I even reinstalled os to figure out if i did something wrong. I tried all the options in preference page but i can't figure out how to get rid of blocks. this is best player i found to watch anime since it only player respects subtitle style comes with file.

anyone else have this problem with mplayer OSX extended?
does anyone else have suggestion for another player for mac that player player subtitle styles correctly.
have movist as my default player but it overrides sub style.
hate vlc i don't like floating window and takes forever to open big files.
can someone point me in right direction?
