MPlayerX / Safari issue

Whenever i have a movie playing in MPlayerX and surf the web through Safari, at some point the the Safari window becomes unresponsive and and will jump to the place i do a mouse click.

i googled and might entered the wrong search criteria, but i couldn't find any hint to solve this annoying issue.

any idea?
