Hi,

I just downloaded MPlayerX from the App store -- I'd previously been using MPlayer OS X Extended.

The reason for the change was that MPlayer OS X Extended would not play the audio of my 720p MKV's, so I went to search for a possible update/codec package to no avail, except finding out about MPlayerX.

The problem is, in MPlayer OS X Extended, I could force it to open my video on my external monitor (Sony TV) and also play audio through it over HDMI. Unfortunately, I can see no way to do this in MPlayerX, nor does Google yield any results.

Any advice would be be greatly appreciated, cheers!
