Hi,

After much deliberations and reading of these forums, decided today (22/6/2009) to buy 2.8 17" Pro with -128gb ssd (which i know having read the posts some of you dislike)

Also bought the Applecare and the AirPort Extreme Base Station. Am not sure what all connects to what but chat with Virgin Media who provide my internet access via cable, may help unless others here knows how it all goes together..?

My current desktop is a (shhh - whispers quietly) ..Dell which has been great and will continue as the desktop.

Am hoping/trusting there should be few problems connecting them together wirelessly with the Base station?

I have to say I have almost become..the title of my thread..Mr Excited! Delivery begiinng of July apparently.

Any comments appreciated. Thanks.

My daughter likes everything Apple so you do (mostly) what you are told/guided towards, but having seen one it does look sweet!
