Where is macrumors based??? And is it a MUG?
Thanks

Umm.. in the internets

and I guess it could be considered a Mac User Group.

I just don't see Apple giving it official MUG status and listing it on their website though, with all the rumors and such. :p

no its not a MUG, and its not based in any location, except online, which is probably why its not a MUG

Macrumors is running off of an, ironically, Linux server using Apache/1.3.33. That server is located in Chicago.

I've always had a soft spot for Raphael. But then again, sometimes, I feel a little sorry for Aroko Saki. :(

Blasphemous!!!1!11 Leonardo all the way!

I always liked the name Michelangelo because he is one of my favorite Renaissance sculptor artists. Most of the best people who drew in perspective were sculptors. And he complained all the way through his work on the Vatican's Sistine Chapel.

I know some are talking about TMNT, and I just liked the name of the character.

I always liked Michelangelo because he was 'the orange one'.

I was five at the time ;)

I remember when I was a kid and the TMNT arcade game came out, there was this four year old, and he was standing at the foot of the machine, neck craned back to just barely see the screen over the controls, rapt in attention, singing along with the theme song. :D

I have an original Leonardo sitting in a box fully packaged mint condition. Got it when i was 6 years old. And i have the first movie memorized, i could recite it now, word for word. Let the teasing commence.

It's a reasonable question though, since the dslreports Mac forum is a MUG.

Less ironically, MacRumors is running on a variety of Unix, just as Mac OS X does. :)

The site owner is on the east coast of the U.S., the moderators are on three continents, and members are all over the map.

Anybody remember playing Turtles in Time in arcades and rushing to get the next quarter in before the clock counted down?
