Can MrMC for Apple TV access the photos and videos in a Photos Library on a Mac?

Specifically, will MrMC for Apple TV allow me to review the recently uploaded photos and videos in the Last Import album in a Photos library on my MacBook Pro?

Thanks in Advance — GetRealBro

Is there plans to support plex transcoding as an option ? I have some x265 files, they don't play very well on the AppleTV natively.

I stop using Infuse because it keeps buffering or freezing at points of movies now. I started to use MrMC and its working like a champ with the Plex login! GREAT Work!

I am surprised that you have that problem. I've been using Infuse for a while and it has worked flawlessly. I would try contacting the developer, they apparently are very responsive.

I tried infuse and although it works good, I prefer mrmc because it has better library support - especially now that it has plex. I use native plex apps on my portable devices because the touch interface works better than on mrmc (and lack of transcoding) but prefer the mrmc interface on my tv at home vs. the official plex app which is awkward to navigate because I don't use the AppleTV remote.

quick bump to 2.5.0

changes since 2.4.1 release version

- fixed, Random play/pause bug when playback does not really pause
- fixed, Update Libraries sometime does not work, removed from plex client scope

Can i access with this app to the music i have in my external HD attached to an airport extreme?

So the update plex library feature no longer works? How does it update then?

There is an auto update timer in gui but plex content is never cached so when you go in, it pulls from plex server so it is never stale. We are re-thinking a smart way to cache/update that does not involve things like 'update library'

Does MrMC allow you to correct overscan? My TV is only 6 years old but it has overscan with the ATV4. None of my TV picture adjustments can fix it. Never had overscan problems with my ATV2.

You can calibrate the screen so I believe that will fix your problem. On a tv in my bedroom it is over scanned too much so I calibrate in mrmc - move each corner inwards which solves.
