Hi,

We had an issue at work in the wee hours this morning our Exchange Server (2003) had an error and stopped syncing email.

We have 6 iPhones in the organisation, all sync contacts/email/calendar solely with Exchange. However of the 6, 2 completely lost all their contacts and email when the Exchange connection was lost - these returned once the connection was restored.

Another 1 or 2 lost email only, not contacts.

Then another 2 didnt loose anything (one was set to fetch instead of push??)

Oh yeah and someone had an iTouch at home syncin email with Exchange over wifi and didnt loose any email.

???? How can 6 phones all behave differently under these circumstances?

I have now been tasked with trying to find a way to ensure the contacts are not lost should the connection drop again?

Any tips/hints/solutions greatly appreciated.

Regards
