I have tried to install MS Money Sundown Delux to my Macbook Pro using Wineskin. It seems to work fine until the end when it tells me to hit Finish. Apparently it is trying to put the MS Money file on Drive: C.
The error message:
Oops!
No new executables found!
Maybe the installer failed…?
If you tried to install somewhere other than C: drive
(drive_c is in the wrapper) then you will get this message too.
All software must be installed in C: drive.
There are two advanced options.
Copy a Folder Inside:
Use this option to just copy a folder inside the wrapper. Only use this for programs that run directly without being installed.
Move a Folder Inside:
This is exactly the same as copy, except it moves the folder instead of copies it.
Then an OK option.
My Wrapper is called MyMoney as an Application.
In Finder it shows up with “This Mac” and not “All Files”
What am I doing wrong? I don’t think it would be a good idea to rename the Hard drive to C: to install it.
Hardware
Macintosh HD Journaled HFS1 disk 1 (Mac)
ScanGear_MGB6300 Series disk 2 (Canon Printer)
What do I need to do?
You help will be GREATLY appreciated!!!
