MS Office X

Can I delete the folders and such that MS office came with? can just have the program icons and delete the rest and still have the program work? As with any other applications that I have? Such as the for graphic converter, in the folder for graphic converter, there is another folder for plugs and a readme text and .pdf for user guide. I like to just have the icons for the programs in my applications, instead of folders. Would they still work without these additional stuff?

If they're there, chances are they're there for a reason. Just leave them be. If it bugs you that much you could just put alias' to the actual applications in the root of your Applications folder, or just drag the apps into the dock for quick access.

edit: oh, and one more thing...
