Does anyone else find that typing in Office takes twice as long as with Apple software because of the useless autocorrect system?
I'm not the most accurate typist, but on iOS or in Apple's Mac software I can just keep typing and the Apple dictionary corrects 90% of my mistakes: expanr becomes expand, developemtn becomes development, and so on...
Meanwhile Word just red-underlines my mistakes and I have to manually right-click and fix them, which totally kills the flow and speed of my writing.
Comically, invariably the first suggested correction is correct - why not just correct automatically then?!
Is there any way to force Word to automatically use the first suggested correction, or alternatively to use Apple's autocorrect dictionary in Word?
I have all of Word's settings set to default, FWIW.
