MS Updater Continually hanging Up My Mac !

Hello,

Help please:

Have an iMac.

Today, it continually hangs up due to Microsoft Updater, per error msg.
Huh !!

I do have MS Officce on the Mac, and it is likely because of this, I imagine ?
But not 100 % sure.

Get that spinning wheel.

Can't stop it from happening. Reboot, and it happens again.

What should i do, please to stop it from continually happening and clearing this "condition"

The easiest thing to try is turning off update. This is done in the app in Help > Check for updates > uncheck Auto update. You may need to do this in each MS app. If this solves the issue and you are not concerned with keeping Office up to date, there you go.

In your menu bar at the top of your screen. Right now, it will be the Help menu for your browser. Open your Office apps and the Help menu will show Check for Updates.
