We're having a heap of problems with Word (v.X) quitting frequently- without any apparent cause.Really frustrating-we're having to hit 'Save' just about every sentence.
I found a thread on an old Mac site suggesting that deleting 'Office Registration Cache X' from Microsoft prefs in User prefs might do the trick-and help with various Word glitches.Trouble is,when we use Word again,a new one gets created.
Is there a way I can create a File called 'Office Registration Cache X' (a fake,ie) and lock it? I've tried creating a bogus Folder, but that can't be locked (or can it?).
Or any other suggestions?
