MS Word: VMWare and multiple monitors

I currently have a VM running on three panels, and any time I type in MS Word, the cursor moves to the middle of the far right panel, which is getting a little old.

Is this a setting I can control in Word, XP, or VMWare? This is the only multiple monitor Windows setup I have access to, so I cannot isolate the cause.

Please expand your system definition. What is the hardware setup? What version of OS X, what version of VMware? Are you running an expanded desktop full screen across the three screens? Or are you using the Unity mode? Version of XP and version of MS Word?

Mac Pro 8x2.8 3,1 , OSX 10.6.3, Fusion 3.0.1, Xp Pro with all updates, Word 2007. The system has a 4870 and two 2600s all used by OSX. The XP partition is on an HDD stripe that is not the boot drive for the overall system.

I run the VM on all panels, it is not in unity mode. Thanks!
