MSI R9 270 2GB

Good evening everyone. I bought myself a Mac Pro 3.1 2008 and wanted to update the graphics and bought an MSI Radeon R9 270 2Gb R9270GAMING2G model. The card is working fine on windows 7 with bootcamp but on el capital it is not working at all not even recognised. I have been reading a lot about flashing boot efi etc but I am newbie on the mac pros, so can anyone assist me or guide me on how to flash the card so I can have apple screen and work on osx?

Hi, The 270 is not supported under OS X as far as i'm aware. The 270X and 280X from that generation will be fine though.

hi and thanks for your reply CreatePro, I have seen people selling them on ebay the exact model saying it is compatible. Do you know if this card can be flashed into a 270x and would it be compatible? boot logo etc?
