Somewhere.
please tell me which one's better on a mac, the MSN version has no nudges and stuff, and i hear this one does, but which one is better overall?

aMSN all the way. It's the only choice if you need custom emoticons, nudges, handwriting, etc.

Mercury should do the job too, but I always found too slow.

If I had to choose, I would go with aMSN.

Messenger for Mac is slow and ugly to boot.

Still, not a big fan of aMSN either. Last time I used it, it was very buggy and crashed often. It was maybe 6 months ago, and bugs may be fixed, but I prefer Adium. :)

But still:

aMSN > Messenger for Mac

I've not used amsn but I intend to now I know about it!

It has a lot more features that msn lacks for instance you can't do webcam!!! Which seems SO stupid when you have the iSight built in.

Okay thanks for all the replys! i fully support aMSN but i left a copy of MSN just in case, i noticed that logging in with aMSN is slightly slower, but the notifications are awesome! Could be buggy and glitchy at first, but looks normal after first 2 log outs xD Thanks all

Have you checked Adium? It's really nice and most Mac users use Adium!;)
