MSN 7/8 failing to send messages, without notification?

Hey

I've been experiencing problems with MSN 7 for ages, even with 8.

Basically it will indiscriminately drop IM's.

I don't even have my Firewall active :eek: yet it will randomly fail to send and sometimes receive IM's, cause bizarre conversations as IM's fail to deliver.

What could it be, is anyone else experiencing something similar?

I've tried aMSN, Adium but you just can't beat the MSN style.
