I am trying to keep all things neat and tidy on my computer but have hit a problem with MSN (6.0.1).

My kids use this computer and have , as kids do, set up multiple accounts on MSN, what I am trying to do is deleat them but it is a lot harder ( for me !) than I thought possible.

I have emailed MSN help and have had this reply.

1. Click the "Macintosh HD" icon on your desktop.
2. Click the folder that has the name of the account you use to log into your Mac computer.
3. Click the "library" folder.
4. Click "Preferences".
5. Click "Microsoft".
6. Delete the following files inside the "Microsoft" folder:
- Com.microsoft.Messenger.plist
- Com.microsoft.MessengerDaemon.plist
- MSN Messenger User Cache

This is fine apart from the second thing, where is this folder I can't find it!

I often wonder if technical support actually use the same computer systems as we mere mortals.

Thanks for any help.

No. When my daughter gets on my computer she puts on new addresses on the messenger when you come to sign on under a different name there was a list of about 12 dormant accounts which ,quite frankly, bugs the hell out of me. It is just house keeping. When she next get on here she can add her address to the system and then use the wonders of modern technology to send one word grunts to the 15 or so screens she has open at one time!

Don't i sound like an old fart!:D
