I was just checking out some of the folders to locate my display pics

Though I found my contacts display pics through documents > micosoft user data > microsoft messenger data > cache

I found the folder called cache which has the display pic(s) of my other contacts

Why does it hold the display pic(s) of contacts in this folder, I didn't notice this until I saw the and checked through the folder. IS the best way to delete them just to select and then trash them.

I assume that also means that my display pics are on my contacts computers as well?

Caches are used to help speed download time and performance. There's no need to re-download the contact pictures every single time you connect to Messenger. We cache them, and update the cache when a contact updates their contact picture.

Nadyne.
