My aunt recently baught a new 24" IMac computer. She used MSN Messanger to talk and see her friends, but on the mac ver of MSN does not work the the camera. (maybe it does, but i didnt find it at least)

Questions:

Does Parallels program work with the IMac camera?
Should she just use Bootcamp? (will the camera work?)
Is there some other solution where she can use the IMac camera, and use MSN messanger?

microsoft msn does not have web cam support, parallels does not have webcam support, mercury messenger for mac has web cam support, bootcamp has support for imac built in webcam for msn for windows. There is a LOT of previous posts on this in the forum

parallels DOES have webcam support, i use it all the time.

I use parallels to access my bootcamp partition, as well as i used parallels before that and just installed the bootcamp drivers (hacked them open) :p

As someone who switched to Mac before MSN had video support, I don't "miss" the feature. I find that Skype usually works quite well though.

In addition, VMware definitely has iSight support.

since we can all use MSN Live in Parallels now, when will MS get off its arse and let us have native video chat in Messenger for Mac?!

They get money every time (well...without piracy) people get Parallels...

If aMSN and Mercury can do it...why can't they (or better yet, Adium)
