MSN Messeger 5 for Mac + webcam viewing?

I've downloaded the latest MSN Messenger for Mac, I was contacted by a friend who is on a PC, he has a webcam and wnted me to see the lighting on Messenger, I could see no button to let his webcam be viewed by me, I use Yahoo IM and webcams seem to work fine??
Is this a part of Messenger incompatable with OSX Tiger??

Messenger for Mac is terrible, it doesnt support many features that the PC version has such as webcam, audio chats etc.

I suggest using Adium. It's probably your best alternative.

Only Mercury and aMSN support webcam. Look at my signature for more info.
