MSN messenger and video conference?!?!?

Hi there i have a friend who has a MAC and uses Msn messenger 6.1 i think....
Is there any way of being able to use a webcam with messenger on a mac PC, cause it doesnt seem like he has the option to do so.

Every time i try i initiate a video conference it tells him that he has an old version of messenger and cannot have access to this feature, Which version should he dowmload so we can chat and use a webcam?

Cheers.. Pascalito

Is it better then live messeneger 8.0 for IBM microsoft?

If i am using microsoft IBM is this amsn better then live messenger or should i stick with my 8.0 msn messenger?

How do i install it?

How do i go about installing it? Just open the downloaded file and install like msn and hop it will work? If you have msn already will you lose all your contact?

cheers

You might both want to consider something like Skype (www.skype.com) for video/audio chats between PCs and Macs. I've a feeling that aMSN doesn't support audio (could be wrong though). Skype feels better-designed too. (Free, so no harm in trying it out and seeing if it's good for you).

Cool... but which one should i download? jst have to click the download box on this page? or should downdload the one for MAC on download page?

cheer

Yes, and when you get to a different page, click on the apple icon.;)

Don't skype have it's own contacts? That's pretty much the reason why I didn't get it.
