MSN Messenger Display Name on Mac

I've never had this problem with my windows computers but I got the latest version of msn messenger for mac and whenever I type in my display name, and then log off. It won't save it. That and along with the personal message as well. It just shows my name that I put on my hotmail account. I know I can change my name in my hotmail account but I'd rather figure this out.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

I don't know about MSN Messenger, but Adium works fine there (and is a much better client to boot).

Yeah, use Adium. It seems like people come on every day with problems with MSN Messenger for Mac. It just plain sucks. Use Adium. Or if you need voice, cam etc, use aMSN. But Adium is the best.

I hate using that as the catch-all response to every IM client problem, but it really does rock.
