MSN messenger for Mac question

I am sorry if this is not the right place to ask this.. and I will try my best to explain something too.

My sister has a MacBook as well and two different versions of messenger, one is of course the basic Mac for Messenger and the second one she has shares the same kind of interface as Windows Live Messenger (gives you to option of signing in as appear off line, busy.. etc) I ask my sister where she got it and she said a long time ago Google or whatever sent out an update for Mac users.

Does anyone know where I can get this program or does anyone have it?

1) You probably have the msn that came with Office 2004.

2) She has the latest build downloadble from Microsoft's page. Google it. It's still horrible though.

3) Get Adium.

bahahahaha

messenger for mac isn't that bad...it's just very basic

adium is more hands on though...all the simple stuff from messenger requires more thought and clicking to do in adium......but you can do alot more
