MSN Messenger for Mac takes LONG time to quit

Anyone else use MSN Messenger for the Mac? I have the latest version (8.0.1) and it works fine. However, when I go to quit the application it takes FOREVER to shut itself down. Is this common? Any ways to make this application quit normally?

happens with me so i just use force quit
