my dad is going to buy me a macbook and ill be getting it this weekend , anyways i been a pc user for a long time and i wonder if the microsoft msn messenger is the same on mac as it is on pc?

Welcome. However forums are for questions that you cannot find the answer too. A search fo this forum or google would have provided the answer you need.

MSN messenger is not as fully featured as the PC version.

It doesn't have the video conferencing bit. Some nonsense from Microsoft that the codecs keep going out of synch between Mac and Windows. However, Yahoo Messenger for Mac which is soon to be out will have this and allow you to video conf with MSN users.

Which I take it means that Yahoo hires better programmers....or something

There is one currently with video capability's or are you referring to a newer one? if so do you know a possible release date?
