I've only got an MSN account, i don't own an AIM one, or any other...

Which application do you guy's recommend?

I only have an MSN account, but I'll always vouch for Adium. Mainly because it works 99.9% of the time, unlike the OS X MSN Client, which works...oh...40% of the time. Maybe.

Adium, hands down

I used to love MSN messenger when I used Windows (and still do when I use it). The OS X version, though, is a huge disappointment. Microsoft has this thing where they only like to update the program, oh, every year and a half or so. MSN doesn't have any video/audio capabilities like the Windows version, either. Given, Adium doesn't have them either, but Adium is a lot more stable. Adium also has the advantage of a single-window interface for your IMs, separated by tabs rather than separate Windows (a huge space saver). Also, if you do ever get another type of account, or even a second MSN account, the ability to have all your accounts integrated, and use them all at once is a huge plus.

The only thing missing from adium is a lack of video support, which MSN does. If you just IM and nothing else, Adium is the most customizable and elegant instant messaging solution I have seen.

I also use Adium a lot, mainly because I have several IM accounts. Adium gives me the ability to open one IM app and not multiple such as AIM, Ymsgr, Gtalk, MSN, etc., etc. But when in XP I still dont use MSN or any main messenger app, I use Digsby.

I use adium! Plus where else could you get a Link from Zelda as your Dock Icon. :D

The only thing adium is missing is a Video Chat feature. Other then that it way better then MSN or AIM because it does both and more.
