MSN Shows Me As Offline

A lot of the times MSN shows me as offline to other people. It happens on Adium and aMSN, and sometimes IM+ on my iPod Touch. It doesn't seem to happen to my sister, I don't think. Does anyone know what could be causing this? It is quite annoying.

You're set to "Appear Offline" (obvious I know, but you never know)?

Tried testing it on another machine / Windows based client?

I'm set as online, and it's hard to test as it seems to be random when it shows me offline/online.

I think it was actually my friend, I asked someone else and they said I was online so I dunno.

This is a problem with the MSN server and not the apps themselves (though I wouldn't put it past the Mac MSN app!), it occasionally happens to me, and to my PC using friends too. Its annoying, but nothing to really worry about.
