MT Newsreader help, please

Hi everyone,

I hope that this isn't of topic here, but I have a small Newsreader question for those of you more exprienced than I.

Sometimes the "Groups" list show that there are, say, 12 posts in a group, but when I click on the group to read the messages, there are only, for example, 3 posts. I don't have any filters on. Does anyone know what is happening? I don't want to miss any posts because I'm doing something stupid!

It may be that you are getting only new groups. You may want to select the Windows > Show Full Group List > {nntp server} menu item.
