I hope this is the right spot for this topic.
I have a few files on an SD card of the mts/m2ts format. I know this because I can see them on a windows machine and they also come up when I try and import them in iMovie, although they are not available, but they are recognised. Now I know that I can't import them directly into iMovie.
My problem is that when I look at the SD card on the finder the MTS/M2TS files are not visible at all. Is there some option/preference I need to change on the mac to see these files?
I have looked at many forums and discussions, and while people are having issues with MTS, no one seems to have the problem of not even seeing them.
