So not only to say that it is one of the best shows out right now, but is it really scripted? They had that launch for Seasons 1 & 2 on MTV, but i don't know if they were joking around or really serious. Also, is Drama Rob's cousin or not. Once again, i thought they were just kidding around, but i'm not sure. I love all the things they do, but how much of it is real and how much is tv bogus?

I'm pretty sure Drama really is his cousin. I'm also pretty sure it's not scripted, but you never really know these days.

all of MTV's "reality" shows with the possible exception of The Real World simply reek of producer input and scripting.

Hmmmmm, so how did they script the bit where his dog nearly dies from eating the chicken bones??

i think it's one of the greatest shows on tv at the moment just wish a could afford sky so i could start watching it again

No, that one incident may not have been scripted, but do you really think the big black guy would have done a striptease at a club if he weren't part of a TV show?

I expect that it's situationally scripted, not dialogue scripted.

e.g., they know ahead of time that they next episode they film will be about Big trying to loose weight, etc.

But the majority of it is ad lib'd.

That's what I was trying to say but you just phrased it better. These shows are far from scripted, but also far from "reality."
