I don't believe this has been mentioned yet, but on my MacBook (2008, Alu. Uni.) there is an odd audio issue when using headphones with the EQ turned on.
The audio comes out muffled for about 10-15 seconds, and then resets itself to normal playback. This will do it on every track, without fail, until it plays a little into the song - then it's ok.
This only happens with headphones in. Playing the audio out of the MacBook is just fine. In addition, the EQ has to be on. No issue with it off.
Such a unique set of conditions have to be met for this problem to occur, that it isn't a huge issue for me. Figured I'd pass it along for any audiophiles out there to test.
Just the first of 3 things that immediately impact me with Mavericks - the others being:
A) Another rearrange of my LaunchPad icons (sigh).
B) The final fix of the Archive function in Mail (just the way it should be) that actually sends messages to that mailbox Archive, and not a random, global, local Mac Archive.
Those are a discussion for another thread though.
