I'm trying to find an external drive (USB) that's 6TB or more, but am struggling.

So can anyone recommend an enclosure that connects via USB or Firewire and has 2 or 4 bays that I can add multiple drives to?

I've been eyeing this one up. Looks pretty cool, but also has mixed reviews.

I've always been very happy with products by G Technology products. They have several options available with multiple connectivity options available like e-SATA, USB, FW, or even Thunderbolt.

There are a lot of bad reviews for it.

Most of those had to do with incompatible USB 3.0 chipsets. I can tell you my Mac Mini has been running it 24x7 for a month now with constant reads and writes with no issues. I trust it enough, that I bought a second (waiting for it to arrive). My only complaint is that the power brick plugs into the side so you can't line a bunch up on your desk with no gaps like I could with my old Sans Digital eSATA based enclosures.

I looked at the vantec ones, but they look considerably larger.

Edit: Also the enclosure doesn't keep my drives as cool as my Sans Digital. This is actually my biggest complaint, but the drives are more than within spec, so who cares.
