I don't see how the claim of multi-day battery life can be anything but marketing BS. Even when you take the CPU completely out of equation, there is still RAM, storage, display, all the supporting components... Say, to get 24 hours battery life you need to limit the average power consumption at 4Watt assuming a largest battery you can have at 99.9Whs. To get 36 hours battery life, its 2.7Watt. Its not something that's achievable with CPU power consumption alone (modern CPUs already consume practically nothing at idle).
