Hi there,
Is there anyway to add Multi-touch hardware to my 2007 Macbook Pro?! I mean physically add the hardware that comes with the early 2008 MacBook Pro?

Why, when you only need to add the software?

You can't put the new trackpad where yours is.

But I bought my MacBook Pro before 2008, and all these websites say I need to have bought my Laptop early 2008! I bought in December 2007!

Oh! Wait... Yeah, you're right. Sorry.

Now, you... MIGHT... be able to take the trackpad from an Early 2008 model and put it in your model and then get the files for four-finger gestures and the like...

But that would be the only way to do it.

The best bet is eBay or maybe iFixit.com.

I don't see a trackpad for the Penryn models on iFixit, but try your luck.
